Citizens Bank Park has only been part of the Philadelphia landscape for a decade, so it makes sense that this ballpark's dining options are continually evolving. As a shift toward healthy eating begins to spread across the nation, Citizens Bank Park has followed suit by offering some more nutritious options on game day, as well as the classics baseball fans have come to love. Here are four examples:

  • Black bean burgers at concessions stands. Instead of filling up on a fatty beef burger or hot dog, ballpark goers now have the option to enjoy a much leaner, vegetarian-friendly black bean burger topped with healthy fixings: guacamole and salsa.
  • Heart-healthy paninis at concessions stands. Chicken pesto and Italian Market paninis both offer a quality of cuisine not often found at sporting events. The latter comes piled with Genoa salami, pepperoni and provolone, pepperoncini and cappicola, and tomato all drizzled in an Italian vinaigrette.
  • New options for traditional ballpark grub at Harry the K's. Mini corn dogs, Philly fries (topped with cheesesteak), and the cracklin' slow-roasted pork sandwich are a few of the new options on the menu at this sit-down restaurant next to the outfield.
  • Craft beers at Bullpen Brews. A completely fresh addition to the ballpark, Bullpen Brews sits behind the bullpens on Ashburn Alley and pours imported, domestic, regional, and microbrews.
